Explainable Artificial Intelligence

Explainable Artificial Intelligence

The field of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) aims to explain a deep neural model to a human user in a comprehensible way. This is essential to gain trust in the model when applying it to safety critical domains, such as, autonomous driving or medical imaging. Our group focuses mainly on XAI for computer vision with works on evaluating XAI methods and intrinsically more explainable models.
