Visual Computing Lab
Summer Semester 2019
Students work in this lab on selected topics in the area of visual computing. Project results will be presented in a talk at the end of the course. The specific topics addressed in the lab change every semester and should be discussed directly with one of the instructors.

- After consultation with a supervisor: Familiarization, based on selected sources, and implementation of an individualized work plan.
Learning goals
After successful completion of this course, the students will be able to independently analyze and solve a problem in the area of visual computing and to evaluate the results.
Degree courses
Can be taken for credit toward BSc / MSc Informatik, MSc Visual Computing, MSc Autonome Systeme, BSc / MSc Computational Engineering and others. Students from other departments, e.g. Mathematik, Elektrotechnik, IST, or Physik are welcome, though academic credit may need to be arranged.
Prerequisites
Practical programming skills, e.g. Java or C++ and basic knowledge or interest in visual computing applications. It is recommended to have taken the introductory course Visual Computing.
