After successful completion of this course, the students will be able to independently analyze and solve an advanced problem in the area of visual computing and to evaluate the results.
Can be taken for credit toward BSc / MSc Informatik, MSc Visual Computing, MSc Autonome Systeme, BSc / MSc Computational Engineering and others. Students from other departments, e.g. Mathematik, Elektrotechnik, IST, or Physik are welcome, though academic credit may need to be arranged.
Practical programming skills, e.g. Java or C++ and basic knowledge or interest in visual computing applications. It is recommended to have taken an introductory course in visual computing, e.g. Introduction to Human Computer Systems. It is also recommended to have attended the Visual Computing Lab beforehand.
